Meet the engineer.

I'm Christopher Malinowski, PE - founder and principal of Malinowski Engineering Consulting. I'm a licensed Fire Protection Professional Engineer with more than a decade of experience in fire protection and life safety engineering, and I lead every engagement personally.

My mission is straightforward: deliver tailored, code-compliant solutions that safeguard lives, protect property, and give owners genuine peace of mind. I take a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to every project - whether it is a commercial build-out, an industrial facility, a high-rise residential tower, or an institutional campus.

I hold both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and I am licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. Over more than a decade - including senior engineering roles at major national engineering and infrastructure firms - I have designed fire protection and life safety systems for commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential developments alongside large-scale industrial facilities.

Beyond client work, I'm the author of FPE Academy and a free guide to passing the PE Fire Protection exam, sharing the same code fluency and life-safety fundamentals I bring to every design.

When you work with me, you are not handed off to an intake desk or an account manager - you get the engineer, from the first sketch to the final inspection. I value clear communication, practical solutions, and long-term relationships with owners, architects, contractors, and the authorities having jurisdiction.
